Healthy food is also important at this stage, so focused on healthy food, especially when it comes to restaurants, visit those restaurants which good quality food. Last time when i was in London, UK, i visited an Indian restaurant Mumbai Square, which were offering great Indian food & recipes. If you wanna visit them, Click Here and learn more about them.

1. Try to eat more often

Eating more often does not mean more food. The average Dutch person eats 3 meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner. For your body it is better to consume 5 to 7 smaller meals. By eating small amounts every time, you keep your body active and your metabolism must remain constantly active. In this way you burn a lot more energy and your metabolism does not have to get started again and again.

2. Drink more water

If you want a magical drink that only benefits your body, then that is water. Water has all kinds of properties that are good for the human body. This way it also has a positive influence on your metabolism. The body needs moisture – preferably water – to be able to supply and dispose of waste materials. If you drink too little fluid, the metabolism will be slowed down.

If you can, try to drink about 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. It is really about water, not soft drinks, for example, with a lot of surplus sugars. This then again counter products the loss.

3. Many and intensive sports

With many muscles you burn a lot more energy than if you have a lot of fat. This is partly because you always start and move your muscles unconsciously, even in a state of rest. Movement again ensures that your metabolism is triggered to start working. After all, it takes energy to put these muscles to work.

If you are not very muscular and not a fan of strength training, cardio training can also have a positive effect on your metabolism. Running for example, does not cause much muscle, but there you consume a lot of energy.

It is also not unimportant that two training sessions of 30 minutes yield more results than one training of one hour. Every time you train, you stimulate your metabolism. Also when you cycle a bit to the train or take the stairs instead of the elevator.

4. Eat more peppers

Do you like spicy food? Then you’re lucky, with green and red peppers you can accelerate your metabolism. Pepper not only tastes your meal, it also increases your metabolism by 20% for half an hour after the meal. This will not drastically change your metabolism, but it can give you a helping hand every day or every week.

5. Ensure enough sleep

Sleep is an important tool of your body to provide peace and regularity. If you sleep badly or irregularly, this can significantly disrupt your metabolism. This can affect your carbohydrate processing. As a result, you may get hungry or suffer a delayed metabolism. This results in fatigue and the urge to eat and snack more, and that is what you want to prevent.

6. Drink more green tea

Green tea contains two substances that have a positive effect on your metabolism: caffeine and catching. If you drink around 3 cups of green tea a day every day, you can lose a whole kilogram of fat in 1 to 3 months, just drinking green tea! Both the caffeine and the catching in the tea give your metabolism a boost for a few hours. Green tea can mainly be seen as a supporting agent if you perform it in combination with the other tips.

7. Black coffee can also help

Not such a tea drinker? Black coffee can also help, if you drink it in moderation – for example at breakfast – it works slightly stimulating on your metabolism. Green tea will probably work a little more effectively. It is also important that you actually drink your coffee black; milk and sugar in the coffee do not fit into a healthy lifestyle.
